Sotheby's will be orchestrating the revelation of art and design goods for sale from the illustrious mastermind of Tamotsu Yagi, the esteemed creative director behind the famous dress codes used by Esprit and the continued accolades since his work with Steve Jobs. This exclusive auction, titled "No Detail is Small: In a statement, the museum said, "We are proud to present the exhibition "Arts and Design from Tamotsu Yagi Collection" that will feature a broad range of imaginative and innovative works that show Yagi's artistic vision."
The Legacy of Tamotsu Yagi
Tamotsu Yagi was responsible for a departure from the established norm in Esprit's style around 1985, spearheading the "graphic look" campaign that was an absolute breakthrough for the brand. Scheduled to live at Sotheby's New York on June 5, this landmark auction features a diverse selection of artworks and design lots curated from Yagi's collection.
